Allergy is a reaction of our body against something that should not cause such reaction. It's treated as an "enemy", and in long run it becomes similar to chronic sickness. Such stress can cause emotional disorder.

Allergy is usually easy to recognize, with small exception of some food intolerances and uncommon reactions to some moulds. Yet it's not widely known that allergy after some time may cause some kind of anxiety or depression, as a result of organic stress.

Let me tell about myself. I had some kind of mould in my sleeping room. Such fungi not always cause typical allergy, sometimes it can be so called "non-IgE" ones, undetectable by common tests. Still they might be devastating. My case was unusual, symptoms arised always when I left the house. Soon I had pretty strong panic attacks, depression and, following, a lot of somatic symptoms. Finally my girlfriend found this mould - it was hidden at the back of cabinet. So I changed my furniture, cleaned my bedroom and... after 2 weeks panic attacks stopped completely. Before I had very hard time leaving my house. I'm lucky, I did not start to take prescribed drugs - they are pretty addictive.

It's nothing to discuss here, just visit a doctor and ask about allergy tests.

Most usual symptoms of allergy are: hay fever, sneezing, sore throat, problems with eyes. Chronic allergy caused by "something" inside our house is easy to recognize - our health improve when we leave for few days. Everything can be a cause - a paint we used, dust, pets, moulds.

Food intolerance can give very various syndroms. Milk is guilty in most cases. I know a lot of people with health problems, because their parents tried to "make them healthy" and forced them to drink milk.

Allergy is usually caused by unnatural feeding of babies - usually by cow milk instead of breast.
